It was an absolute honour in every sense of the word, for us to be asked by three of our “idols” in the Floral Design world, to create a piece for this year’s World Rose Festival.
Hilary Miles,Maureen Sullivan and Donna Hutton contacted us in early January and asked if we would like to represent Vancouver Island in the Floral Design component of the festival. It took place in the spectacular new Vancouver Convention Centre and was displayed in the “floral promenade”. We used over 200 stems of imported roses in all shades ranging from pale champagne to bright orange. Jenna Tye the brilliant photographer from Victoria accompanied us and our design all the way from our studio, on the ferry too the massive convention centre. Jenna never disapoints no matter what the subject is to so keep checking our website for Rose Festival spread in the galleries. In the mean time here are a few sneak peaks. Thank you, to our mentors Hilary, Maureen and Donna for this most amazing opportunity.
Stunning! The bouquet radiates a golden glow! Magnificent job ladies!
